Memero Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Memero stores and how the app uses information to create memory sets and reminders.

Last updated: July 17, 2026

Information You Add

Memero lets you add photos, titles, notes, reminder dates, and optional location areas for arrival or departure reminders. This information is used to create and show your memory sets inside the app.

Local Storage

Your memory sets are stored locally on your device using app storage. Memero does not require an account and does not operate a server for uploading your memory sets.

Photos

When you choose photos, Memero stores the selected image data in your memory set. The app uses those photos so you can browse, zoom, and share them from the deck.

Location

If you enable location-based reminders, Memero uses the selected location area to schedule arrival or departure notifications. Location access is requested only for reminder features that need it.

Notifications

Memero uses local notifications to remind you at a selected time, when you arrive at a selected area, or when you leave one. Notification content may include the title and notes from a memory set.

Sharing

If you use the share feature, the selected photo is handed to the system share sheet. What happens next depends on the app or service you choose from that sheet.

Data Collection

Memero is designed around local use. The app does not include account creation, advertising tracking, or analytics collection in the current implementation.

Your Choices

You can edit or delete memory sets in the app. You can also control photo, location, and notification permissions from iOS Settings.

Changes

This privacy policy may be updated if Memero adds new features or changes how information is handled. The updated date will reflect the latest version.
